Pay Now Rates 101:
At the Santa Rosa location, with our Pay Now Rates you'll often enjoy up to 35% off standard, non-discounted rental rates. When you select a Pay Now Rate, you are required to prepay toward your rental on the website at the time of reservation.
With our flexible pay online terms, EAR prepaid rentals beat the competition every time! Be sure to reserve early — you're only able to pay online when booking more than 12 hours before the rental pick-up time.
Important Pay Online Tips
- Keep your reservation confirmation number handy because this number is necessary for rental modifications, cancellations or refund requests.
- EAR accepts the following credit cards for online payment: Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Discover.
- When you pick up your prepaid rental: You must present the same card that you used for online payment. All rental credentials required by the location must be presented, and the name on those credentials must match the name on the reservation (Driver License).
- Credit and debit card hold rules may apply. Read the terms and conditions in the online reservation process for specific hold amounts and debit card rules at the rental location. At the time of pickup, EAR will generally request an authorization hold against your account for incidentals, but reserves the right in its sole discretion, to request extra value based on certain factors as we deem appropriate. Some exceptions may apply. THESE FUNDS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR USE while the rental contract is still ongoing.
- When the rental is returned, the additional authorization hold will drop, but the bank may take time to post it back to the account. When using Pay Now Rates and you have already paid toward your rental, the additional hold will be only $100 USD. Again, while this hold is in place, the funds will not be available for your use.
- For security reasons, if you are unable to satisfy the credential or hold requirements at the location when picking up your car, you will not be allowed to rent. To request a refund for the prepaid reservation, use your reservation confirmation number to retrieve your prepayment information either on our website or by calling (707) 387-3774 between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM Mon – Fri; 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Sat PST. If the cancellation is not received within 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time, a $50 processing fee will apply.
- Most reservation details may be changed without penalty before your scheduled rental pick-up time. Form of prepayment cannot be changed as well as the name on the reservation.
If you do not cancel at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time, we'll refund the full prepaid amount less a $50 processing fee.
If you don't show up for your rental, we'll refund the full prepaid amount less a $150 no-show processing fee.
- Cancel and refund requests must be made on our website using the 'cancel/request a refund' process accessible when viewing your reservation details or by calling (707) 387-3774 08:00 AM-5:00 PM Mon – Fri; 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Sat. Credits will be refunded within seven days back to the card used for prepayment.
You have up to 6 months after your pick-up date to request a refund.
